Who we are
This site is operated by Sample Toastmasters Club to manage meeting agendas and club participation. For privacy questions, contact us at vpm-4165@toastmastersclubs.org.
Data we collect
When you use this site, we may store:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your profile photo (if you upload one)
- Meeting roles you sign up for, speech details, and guest registration information
- Your email preference settings
Email communications
We send two kinds of email:
- Sign-in emails: sent when you request a sign-in link. These are required to access your account and cannot be turned off while you use passwordless sign-in.
- Club emails: meeting agendas, role reminders, speech reminders, and other club updates. These are optional. You can opt in when you sign up, change your preference in your profile, or unsubscribe using the link in any club email.
If you opt out of club emails, you will no longer receive agendas or other club updates by email. You can still sign in and use the site.
Cookies we use
We use only essential cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Session cookie: keeps you signed in and protects forms. Expires after about 30 days of inactivity, or when you sign out.
- Remember-me cookie: helps restore your session if you stay signed in.
- CSRF token cookie: helps prevent cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
These cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work. We do not use them for tracking or advertising.
Third-party services
- Resend: delivers sign-in and club emails to your inbox.
- Google Fonts: loads typography from Google’s servers when you visit the site.
- jsDelivr: may load a small animation script on celebration pages after you sign up for a role.
Your rights
You can:
- Update your name, phone, and photo in your profile
- Turn club emails on or off in your profile
- Unsubscribe from club emails using the link in any club email
- Contact your club officers to request deletion of your account
